Our Policies

• We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express, money orders and cash.
• All rates are double occupancy and do not include tax (13% plus $.50 per night). Additional guest is $25 per night plus tax; $35 per night plus tax for special events.
• Minimum stays are required during special events, and some weekends, please inquire when making your reservation.
• Check-in time is flexible but please let us know if you plan on arriving prior to 1:00pm or after 10:00pm.
• Check-out time is 11:00am (luggage can be stored for guests leaving the city later in the day.
• Smoking is only allowed outside the mansion. Ashtrays are provided on the front porch and in the garden.
• Sorry no pets.
• The inn may not be enjoyable for children under 12; let's discuss this when you make your reservation.

Cancellation policies

We hope you do not have to cancel your time with us and we want you to know in an emergency we will do everything to accomomodate you. We promise to work hard to rebook a room in the event of a cancellation. However, please understand most travelers make their plans six weeks in advance so last minutes cancellations pose a real difficulty for us as innkeepers of a small bed and breakfast.

Cancellation policies for non-special events dates:

• We do require your credit card number with the expiration date, security code and mailing address to make a reservation.
• Reservation cancelled 29 days or more prior to arrival will incur a $30 cancellation fee.
• Reservations cancelled between 15 and 28 days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of one night's room and tax.
• Reservations cancelled within two weeks prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of one night's room and tax.

Cancellation policy for special events
(i.e. Sugar Bowl, Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, Halloween and New Year's Eve):

• We do require your credit card number, with the expiration date, security code and mailing address to make a reservation.
• Guests may be asked to pay the balance of their reservation in full 30 days in advance of special event dates.
• Charges are fully refundable, minus one night's rate, if the reservation is canceled 60 days prior to beginning of stay, provided the room is subsequently filled. If the room goes unreserved, the entire amount of stay will be forfeited.
